On October 10th, 2023 SAF Technologies held their annual Southeast Security Expo. This year’s event was held at the Cabarrus Arena in Concord, NC. With more than 40,000 square feet of security technology, 12 educational tracks, and 20 speakers, attendees had a fantastic opportunity to expand their knowledge and network with others in the industry.
The event featured a variety of security technology vendors showcasing the latest and greatest in security cameras, access control systems, and surveillance software, including robots! Attendees had the chance to see these technologies in action and talk directly with the experts who designed them.
In addition to the vendor exhibits, SAF Technologies also provided educational tracks covering topics such as industry specific security including schools and hospitals, AI in security, security management, and more! These tracks were led by industry experts who shared their knowledge and best practices with attendees.
Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker Colonel Mark Tillman who was the Presidential pilot on Airforce One during 9/11.
Overall, the Southeast Security Expo was a huge success. Attendees left with new knowledge, valuable connections, and a deeper understanding of the importance of security technology in today’s world. SAF Technologies looks forward to hosting another successful event next year.
